Chatbot WhatsApp
Fewer manual steps. Business process automation for fleet fueling and human resources.

The whole
product.
Corporate WhatsApp chatbot built for a construction company in Mato Grosso, Brazil. The bot automates three critical business processes: fleet fueling management with photo validation and odometer tracking, employee hiring with a 15+ step conversational flow, and dismissal workflow with document collection. Built on n8n, the system uses Evolution API v2.3.7 for WhatsApp connectivity via Baileys, PostgreSQL (Neon) for state management, Express.js for document upload endpoints, and Microsoft Graph API for SharePoint integration. The architecture follows an event-driven state machine pattern where each message triggers a webhook, and user state is tracked in a database field, enabling complex multi-step conversations with inactivity timeouts.
Solution scope
Structured WhatsApp journeys, document collection, state management and SharePoint integration.
How it works
in practice.
Capabilities connecting the user experience to operational needs.
Fleet Fueling Flow

Hiring Process (15+ Steps)
Multi-step conversational hiring flow collecting personal data, documents, photos, and integrating with SharePoint for document storage.
Dismissal Workflow
Structured dismissal process with document collection, checklist management, and compliance tracking.
Web Document Upload
Express.js upload endpoint with token-based authentication for documents too large for WhatsApp, with zero-downtime migration.
State Machine Architecture
Conversational state tracked in PostgreSQL 'controle' field, enabling complex multi-step flows with inactivity timeout.
SharePoint Integration
Microsoft Graph API integration for storing employee documents in organized SharePoint folders.
Behind
the interface.
Event-Driven + State Machine
Each WhatsApp message triggers a webhook in n8n. The workflow reads user state from PostgreSQL, executes the appropriate business logic based on state + input, updates state, and sends response via Evolution API. Express.js handles file uploads separately.
